She is no stranger to causing controversy but Margaret Cho certainly shocked audiences on her recent Australian tour.The comedienne decided to use John Travolta’s sexuality as the brunt of several of her jokes.Cho, who starred with Travolta in the 1997 movie Face/Off, branded the married actor ‘gay’ several times during her routine.
‘I’m going to get in trouble but I’ll just tell you,’ she said to the crowd. ‘He is so gay. John Travolta is so gay.’But Cho, who is openly bisexual and a gay rights activist, didn’t stop there.‘He’s not just gay. He doesn’t just like men,’ she said. ‘He is like Oscar Wilde gay… like Lord Byron gay.

59-year-old on Face/Off, after claiming they spent a year together
working on the action thriller.‘It was a weird movie because the way that he worked on it was John Travolta, he can only work 10 hours a day,’ she said.
